【解説：Commentary】
『午後三時のビタースイート』は、SUNOで作った最初の曲です。
ゆめのたね放送局神戸スタジオで担当している『宇宙図書館』という番組のオープニング曲として作りました。
オープニング曲としてノリの良い曲が良いと思い、てきとうにサンバを指定したところ、SUNOが、次のような指示で、勝手に作ってくれたのです。
「明るいビッグバンドポップにラテンシャッフルグルーヴが加わり、タイトなホーンリフが活発なピアノやウォーキングベースと交互に響き合い、女性ボーカルは軽やかで遊び心があり、シャープなドラムとハンドパーカッションの上で踊り、コーラスは重ねられた『ララ』のバックラインとコール&レスポンスで花開く。中盤はベース、スナップ、ミュートホーンに落ち、最後にフルバンドのシャウトコーラスが続く」
最初からとても良い曲ができたので、それで、私は曲作りがやめられなくなったのです。
‘Afternoon Three O’Clock Bittersweet’ is the first song I made with SUNO.
I created it as the opening song for the program ‘Space Library,’ which I host at Yumenotane Broadcasting Station Kobe Studio.
I thought it would be good to have an upbeat song for the opening, so I casually suggested samba, and SUNO came up with instructions saying,
“A bright big band pop with a Latin shuffle groove, tight horn riffs alternating with lively piano and walking bass, the female vocals are lighthearted and playful, dancing atop sharp drums and hand percussion, and the chorus blossoms with layered ‘la-la’ backlines and call & response. In the middle section, it drops to bass, snap, and muted horns, and finally a full band shout chorus follows,” and made it on their own.
Since a really good song was made from the start, that’s why I couldn’t stop making music.
